Nina Simon (born July 15, 1981) is an American author, exhibition curator, educator, and museum director. She founded the Museum 2.0 consultancy and the OF/BY/FOR ALL nonprofit, led the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History, and wrote two well-regarded books on participatory museum practice (The Participatory Museum; The Art of Relevance) before publishing her debut novel, Mother-Daughter Murder Night (2023), which became a New York Times bestseller and received broad critical recognition. Her work spans museum practice, community-centered design, and crime fiction.
