Kristi Charish is a Canadian author of urban fantasy and paranormal mystery novels. She is best known for the Owl series (including Owl and the Japanese Circus) and the Kincaid Strange series (including The Voodoo Killings). Trained as a scientist, Charish holds a BSc and MSc from Simon Fraser University and a PhD in Zoology from the University of British Columbia; she often draws on her scientific background in her fiction. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
