Lorena Hughes is an award-winning author of historical fiction. Born and raised in Ecuador, she moved to the United States at eighteen to study fine arts and mass communication & journalism at the University of New Mexico. Before becoming a full-time author, she worked in advertising, graphic design, and illustration. Her novels, which often explore themes of family secrets, identity, and historical settings, have received acclaim from various publications.
