Sandra Dallas
Sandra Dallas is an American author known for her historical fiction novels set in the American West, as well as nonfiction works exploring Western history and culture. A former bureau chief for BusinessWeek magazine, she began her fiction writing career in 1990. Her work often explores themes of loyalty, friendship, and human dignity, and she has been dubbed 'a quintessential American voice' by Jane Smiley.
