Cat Sebastian is an award-winning author of queer historical romances. Before writing, she worked as a lawyer and a teacher. She was born in New Jersey and lived in New York and Arizona before settling in a swampy part of the South. Her books often feature LGBTQ+ characters and happy endings, and have received starred reviews from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, and Booklist. Her novel "We Could Be So Good" won a Lambda Literary Award in 2024.
