The Sixth Faction is an alternate universe reimagining of the Divergent series set in futuristic Chicago. The story follows sixteen-year-old Beatrice Prior as she faces her Choosing Ceremony, where individuals decide between five factions centered on virtues. Although Beatrice originally plans to leave the Abnegation faction to join Dauntless, a tragedy strikes during the ceremony that changes her plans and her world. Ultimately not choosing Dauntless, Beatrice's new decision thrusts her into the crosshairs of an underground rebellion. There, she encounters a boy with only a number for a name, whose secrets are as dangerous as her own, and who might be the only person she can trust. The novel is the first installment in a planned duology, and this deluxe limited edition features an exclusive cover colorway, designed edges, a completely foiled case, and special endpapers.
