The Sea of Monsters (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 2)

Percy Jackson's seventh-grade school year is relatively uneventful until a mysterious attack at his school reveals that Camp Half-Blood is in peril. The magical borders protecting the camp, which are sustained by Thalia's pine tree, have been poisoned by an unknown enemy, causing the camp's defenses to fail. During the perilous journey, Percy also uncovers a shocking secret about his own family that makes him question his identity as a demigod.
