Matthew K. Manning is an American author and comic-book writer known for books and reference works about superheroes and for writing numerous comic-book issues. He has written dozens of comics for publishers including DC and Marvel and is the author of many prose and illustrated books for publishers such as DK Publishing, Scholastic, Insight Editions, Andrews/McMeel, Capstone, and Running Press. He lives in Asheville, North Carolina with his wife and daughters.
