Scott Douglas Cunningham (June 27, 1956 – March 28, 1993) was an American author best known for accessible books on Wicca, natural magic, and herbalism. His 1988 Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner became a seminal introduction for solitary practitioners and helped popularize earth-centered, nature-oriented Pagan practice. Cunningham wrote dozens of books on magic, herbs, crystals, and related subjects and remained influential in modern Pagan and New Age communities after his death.
