Katy Hays

Katy Hays is an American writer and adjunct art history professor. She is the author of The Cloisters (a New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller) and has published fiction and academic writing; her work often explores dark academia themes, complex female friendships, and strange-but-real worlds. Hays has worked in curatorial and research roles at institutions including SFMOMA and The Clark Art Institute and lives in Olympic Valley, California.
