Mona Awad
Mona Awad is a Canadian novelist and short story writer known for her darkly comic, surreal, and genre-bending fiction. Born in Montreal, she has lived in the United States since 2009 and currently teaches in the Creative Writing program at Syracuse University. Her work often explores themes of body image, female friendship, creativity, and the uncanny. She has been named Margaret Atwood's 'literary heir' and is the author of several acclaimed novels, including '13 Ways of Looking at a Fat Girl', 'Bunny', 'All's Well', and 'Rouge'.
