Moïra Fowley-Doyle is an Irish author of young adult and adult speculative fiction and magical realism. Born and raised in Dublin to a French mother and Irish father, they studied English and French at University College Dublin and later pursued postgraduate literature studies at Trinity College Dublin. Fowley-Doyle is the author of YA novels including The Accident Season (2015), Spellbook of the Lost and Found (2017) and All the Bad Apples (2019), and the adult short-story collection Eyes Guts Throat Bones (2023). Their work has been shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, nominated for the Carnegie Medal, and won Short Story of the Year at the An Post Irish Book Awards (2023). They live in Dublin and also work as an artist and tarot reader.
