Amy Sarig King (known professionally as A.S. King) is an American author of acclaimed young-adult and middle-grade fiction. Her work is noted for its inventive, occasionally surreal style and its focus on identity, family, social justice, and mental health. King lived for many years in Ireland before returning to Pennsylvania; she has received multiple honors for her books and a lifetime achievement recognition from YALSA.
