John Green

John Michael Green (born August 24, 1977) is an American author, YouTuber, and podcaster best known for contemporary young adult novels that explore coming-of-age themes and emotional realism. His notable novels include Looking for Alaska (2005), Paper Towns (2008), The Fault in Our Stars (2012), and Turtles All the Way Down (2017). In addition to his fiction work, Green co-founded the Vlogbrothers YouTube channel and the educational channels Crash Course and SciShow, and he is active in online community-building and philanthropy.
