Melody Carlson

Melody Carlson (born March 2, 1956) is an American author of more than 200 books for women, teens, and children, best known for the Diary of a Teenage Girl series and the TrueColors teen series. Her work often addresses coming-of-age themes, faith, family, and identity. She grew up in Springfield, Oregon, and has lived in Sisters, Oregon. Carlson's books have appeared across both Christian and general-market publishers.
