Justina Chen is a Taiwanese-American fiction writer and executive communications consultant, best known for her young-adult fiction. She has also written middle grade novels, picture books, and non-fiction books for leaders. Her work often explores themes of identity, belonging, and the challenges of adolescence. Chen previously worked as a marketing executive at Microsoft before pursuing her writing career. She also co-founded Readergirlz, a literary project for girls that won a National Book Award for innovations in reading. She currently lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and children.
