Grace Lin (born May 17, 1974) is an American children's author and illustrator known for picture books, early readers, and middle-grade novels that often draw on Taiwanese and Chinese folklore and culture. Her novel Where the Mountain Meets the Moon was a Newbery Honor book; she has received multiple honors including Geisel and Caldecott recognition and the 2022 Children's Literature Legacy Award. Lin is an advocate for diversity in children's literature and has published more than two dozen books.
