Traci Chee

Traci Chee is a New York Times bestselling and award-winning author of books for young people. She is known for her young adult fantasy works, including The Reader trilogy and A Thousand Steps into Night, as well as her historical fiction novel We Are Not Free, which was a National Book Award finalist and a Printz Honor Book. She studied literature and creative writing at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and earned a Master of Arts degree from San Francisco State University. She currently serves on the faculty at the Low Residency MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Nevada, Reno.
