Tracy Chevalier

Tracy Rose Chevalier (born 19 October 1962) is an American-British novelist best known for historical fiction such as Girl with a Pearl Earring. Born in Washington, D.C., she studied English at Oberlin College and later completed an MA in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia. She has published multiple bestselling novels, many set in richly researched historical settings, and lives in London.
