Mary Hoffman
Mary Hoffman is a prolific and prize-winning British author who has written over 90 books for children and teenagers, as well as adult novels under pseudonyms. She is known for her "Amazing Grace" series, the "Stravaganza" series, and historical novels. Hoffman has also written numerous retellings of myths, legends, and fairy tales. She has a strong interest in Italy, which is reflected in some of her works, and she speaks Italian. Hoffman has been recognized for her work with children and schools and has actively campaigned against sexism and racism in children's literature.
