Walter Isaacson

Walter Seff Isaacson (born May 20, 1952) is an American writer, journalist, and biographer known for bestselling biographies of figures including Steve Jobs, Albert Einstein, Benjamin Franklin, Leonardo da Vinci, Jennifer Doudna, and Elon Musk. He has served as editor of Time, chairman and CEO of CNN, and president and CEO of the Aspen Institute. He is a professor of history at Tulane University and a frequent interviewer and commentator for PBS and other outlets.
