Julia Claiborne Johnson

Julia Claiborne Johnson is an American author known for her bestselling novel 'Be Frank with Me' and 'Better Luck Next Time'. She grew up on a farm in Tennessee, attended the University of Virginia, and studied creative writing at Boston University. Before becoming a novelist, she worked at Mademoiselle and Glamour magazines in New York City. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, a television comedy writer, and their two children.
