James D. Shipman

James D. Shipman is a bestselling author of historical fiction and a practicing attorney. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, he began writing short stories and poems while earning a degree in history from the University of Washington. He later earned a law degree from Gonzaga University and opened his own law firm in 2004. He continues to balance his legal career with his writing.
