Piper CJ is a North Dakota–born author and folklorist known for romantasy and modern myth-making. She holds an M.A. in Folklore and a B.A. in Broadcasting, previously worked in broadcasting and photography, and gained a large following on TikTok for book- and folklore-related content. She is the author of the bestselling The Night and Its Moon series and the No Other Gods series and is openly a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
