P. C. Cast (born May 13, 1960) is an American author best known for co-writing the House of Night young-adult series with her daughter Kristin Cast. A former high-school teacher and U.S. Air Force veteran, Cast has written numerous fantasy and paranormal-romance novels and has won multiple awards; her books have sold millions of copies worldwide.
