Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is an American author known for her young adult fantasy novels, including the Den of Shadows, The Kiesha'ra, and The Maeve'ra series, as well as the adult Mancer Trilogy. She published her debut novel, In the Forests of the Night, at the age of fourteen. In addition to her writing career, she has worked as a special education teacher.
