Vanessa Diffenbaugh

Vanessa Diffenbaugh is an American author and foster care advocate. She is best known for her debut novel, 'The Language of Flowers', which became a New York Times bestseller. She studied creative writing and education at Stanford University and has worked as a teacher and a foster parent, experiences that heavily influenced her writing and her advocacy work for youth transitioning out of the foster care system.
