Brit Bennett
Brit Bennett is an American novelist and essayist born and raised in Oceanside, California. She is best known for her New York Times bestselling novels, 'The Mothers' (2016) and 'The Vanishing Half' (2020). Her writing frequently explores themes of race, identity, class, and family legacy. She is a graduate of Stanford University and holds an MFA in fiction from the University of Michigan.
