Cristina Henríquez
Cristina Henríquez is an American author known for her novels exploring the immigrant experience, including 'The Book of Unknown Americans' and 'The Great Divide'. Born in Delaware to a Panamanian father and an American mother, she spent summers in Panama, which heavily influenced her writing. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and currently resides in the Chicago area.
