Laurie Frankel
Laurie Frankel is a New York Times bestselling author, essayist, and public speaker known for her poignant and thought-provoking novels that explore themes of family, identity, and love. Her work often addresses social issues, including transgender rights, environmental justice, and non-traditional families. A former college professor, she taught courses in creative writing, literature, and gender studies before transitioning to writing full-time. Her novels have been translated into more than twenty-five languages and optioned for film and television. Frankel lives in Seattle, Washington, with her husband, daughter, and border collie.
