Jocko Willink is a retired U.S. Navy SEAL officer, author, podcaster, and co-founder of the leadership consulting firm Echelon Front. During his 20-year military career, he commanded SEAL Team Three's Task Unit Bruiser during the Battle of Ramadi in the Iraq War, becoming the most highly decorated special operations unit of that conflict. Since retiring from the Navy in 2010, he has become a prominent leadership instructor, speaker, and best-selling author of books on leadership, discipline, and personal development, as well as the 'Way of the Warrior Kid' children's book series.
