Laura Van Wormer

Laura Eleanor Van Wormer is an American author of fiction and non-fiction. Born in 1955 and raised in Darien, Connecticut, she graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Before becoming a full-time author, she worked in the publishing industry, including a position as an editor at Doubleday. She is well-known for her Sally Harrington series and has written numerous standalone novels and works related to television series such as Dallas and Knots Landing.
