Linda Castillo is an American author best known for her New York Times and USA Today bestselling Kate Burkholder mystery series, which are crime thrillers set in Amish country. Born and raised in Ohio, she began her writing career with romantic suspense novels before achieving widespread acclaim for her police procedurals. Her debut Kate Burkholder novel, Sworn to Silence, was adapted into the Lifetime original movie 'An Amish Murder'. She currently resides on a ranch in Texas.
