Lucía Ashta is an Argentinian-American author known for her prolific work in young adult and adult fantasy and paranormal fiction. She is the author of over seventy books, including series such as Royals of Embermere, Smoky Mountain Pack, Witches of Gales Haven, Magical Creatures Academy, and Witching World. Before becoming a full-time author, Ashta worked as an attorney and architect. She currently resides in North Carolina's Smoky Mountains with her husband and three daughters.
