Simone Elkeles
Simone Elkeles is an American author known for her young adult romance novels, particularly the "Perfect Chemistry" trilogy and the "How to Ruin" trilogy. She has been a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. Elkeles earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science in Industrial Relations from Loyola University-Chicago. Before becoming an author, she worked in a manufacturing company and even became CEO at age 24 after her father's death. She writes about teen relationships and romances, drawing inspiration from her own experiences as a teen in the 1980s. Elkeles is also known for being a popular speaker at schools, libraries, and conferences.
