Grant Patterson

Grant Patterson was born in Vancouver, BC, and graduated from Simon Fraser University with a BA in Criminology in 1995. He is the son of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer and a teacher. Patterson began his law enforcement career in 2000 with the Canada Border Services Agency, working primarily on the Canada-US border. He took early retirement in 2017 and moved to Brazil with his wife and children. He has written numerous books, including crime thrillers set in Brazil, a memoir about his career, and historical fiction. He has also been involved in IT, content production, and web development.
