Haley Healey is a high school counselor, registered clinical counselor, and author of books for all ages about extraordinary historical women. She has taught in isolated communities, guided whitewater canoe expeditions, and plays the violin. Healey has an avid interest in wild places and unconventional people. She has appeared on the radio show "Into the Wild."
