Chelsea Quinn Yarbro (September 15, 1942 – August 31, 2025) was an American writer known for her historical horror novels, particularly the series featuring the vampire Count Saint-Germain. She wrote in a wide variety of genres, including science fiction, westerns, young adult adventure, historical horror, mystery, and fantasy. Yarbro was also a composer, cartographer, and tarot card reader. She was recognized with numerous awards for her contributions to the horror and fantasy genres, including the Bram Stoker Lifetime Achievement Award and the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement.
