Deborah Harkness

Deborah Harkness (born April 5, 1965) is an American historian and bestselling novelist, best known for the All Souls Trilogy beginning with A Discovery of Witches. A scholar of the history of science, she has taught at the University of Southern California and has received fellowships from Fulbright, Guggenheim, and the National Humanities Center. Her fiction blends historical research with paranormal romance and has been adapted for television.
