Elizabeth Lowell
Ann Charters Maxwell (born April 5, 1944) is an American novelist who writes under the pen name Elizabeth Lowell (among others). She has written dozens of novels — individually and in collaboration with her husband Evan Maxwell — spanning science fiction, romance, mystery and romantic suspense. Writing as Elizabeth Lowell she gained wide commercial success with numerous New York Times bestsellers and has received awards from Romance Writers of America and Romantic Times, including a RITA and a Lifetime Achievement award.
