Megan Miranda is a New York Times bestselling American author of mystery and suspense novels for adult and young adult readers. Her adult novels include All the Missing Girls; The Perfect Stranger; The Last House Guest (a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick); The Girl from Widow Hills; Such a Quiet Place; The Last to Vanish; The Only Survivors; Daughter of Mine; and You Belong Here. She grew up in New Jersey, graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and lives in North Carolina with her husband and two children.
