Christian Hartmann

Christian Hartmann is a German historian and research fellow at the Institute of Contemporary History in Munich. He specializes in modern European history, the history of international relations, and military history. Hartmann has authored and co-authored numerous books and articles on these subjects, including works on General Franz Halder and the Eastern Front during World War II. He has also served as a consultant for historical films and documentaries and is a reserve lieutenant colonel and lecturer at the Military Academy of the Bundeswehr.
