Jessica Anya Blau

Jessica Anya Blau is an American novelist, short story writer, and screenwriter. Born in Boston and raised in Southern California, her novels—including The Summer of Naked Swim Parties, Drinking Closer to Home, The Wonder Bread Summer, The Trouble with Lexie, and Mary Jane—have been national bestsellers and widely featured in publications and programs such as The Today Show, CNN, NPR, Vanity Fair, and Oprah’s summer reading selections. She has also worked as a screenwriter, ghostwriter, and writing instructor.
