Julia Heaberlin
Julia Heaberlin is an internationally bestselling author known for her psychological thrillers. Before becoming a novelist, she had a distinguished career as an award-winning journalist and editor for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Dallas Morning News, and The Detroit News, where her interest in true crime and the forgotten stories of victims was cultivated, a theme often reflected in her fiction. She grew up in Decatur, a small town in Texas, and currently resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with her family. Her books have been sold in over twenty countries and several have been optioned for film and television.
