Amy Poehler
Amy Poehler is an American actress, comedian, writer, producer, and director. She is known for her roles in sketch comedy, sitcoms, and comedy films. Poehler gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Leslie Knope on NBC's "Parks and Recreation," a role that earned her numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe Award. She first rose to prominence as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL), where she was known for her memorable characters and her dynamic co-anchoring of the show's "Weekend Update" segment alongside Tina Fey. Poehler's comedy career began in Chicago, where she studied at the famous Second City improv school before co-founding the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), which became a renowned improvisational and sketch comedy group.
