Brad Parks

Brad Parks is an American author of mystery novels and thrillers, known for his ability to blend humor with gritty realism. He is the only author to have won the Shamus, Nero, and Lefty Awards, three of crime fiction's most prestigious prizes. Parks began his writing career at age 14, working for his hometown newspaper, and later became a journalist for The Washington Post and The Star-Ledger. He transitioned to fiction writing and published his debut novel, "Faces of the Gone," in 2009, which introduced the character Carter Ross. His novels have been translated into 16 languages and have received critical acclaim.
