Thomas R. Holtz Jr.

Thomas R. Holtz Jr. is an American vertebrate paleontologist, author, and principal lecturer at the University of Maryland's Department of Geology. He specializes in the anatomy, evolution, and behavior of carnivorous dinosaurs, particularly tyrannosaurids. He has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications and contributed to several documentaries and books on dinosaurs for the general public. He is also the director of the Science and Global Change Program at the University of Maryland.
