Michelle Jabès Corpora
Michelle Jabès Corpora is a New York Times and National bestselling author, editor, community organizer, and martial artist. She is known for her young adult fantasy series, "Throne of Khetara," inspired by Ancient Egypt, with the first book, "His Face Is the Sun," receiving numerous accolades. Corpora also writes the "Holly Horror" series for young adults and has authored middle-grade novels. She began her writing career ghostwriting five novels in a middle-grade mystery series and has worked in children's publishing for over nineteen years as an editor and concept developer. Her work has been published in more than twenty languages and optioned for film and TV. Corpora holds a BA in English and Theater from UMBC and an MA in Children's Literature from Hollins University. She lives in Maryland with her husband, two daughters, and a dog named Charlie.
