Mario Escobar

Mario Escobar Golderos is a Spanish author and historian, born in Madrid, Spain, on June 23, 1971. He holds a degree in History and a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Modern History. Escobar has written numerous books and articles on the Inquisition, the Protestant Reformation, and religious sects. He is a professor at Spain's distance-learning university, UNED, and a contributing columnist for various publications. He is passionate about history and its mysteries, delving into church history, sectarian groups, and the discovery and colonization of the Americas, specializing in the lives of unorthodox Spanish and American figures. His works have been translated into numerous languages, and he is a USA Today and international bestselling author.
