Nancy L. Mace

Nancy L. Mace, MA, is retired and was a consultant to and a member of the board of directors of the Alzheimer Association. She also served as an assistant in psychiatry and coordinator of the T. Rowe and Eleanor Price Teaching Service of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Mace has also been a consultant to the Office of Technology Assessment, U.S. Congress. She is the author of "The 36-Hour Day: A Family Guide to Caring for Persons with Alzheimer's Disease, Related Dementing Illnesses, and Memory Losses in Later Life," which has sold millions of copies worldwide and is considered a definitive guide to dementia care.
